The 19th edition of the Annual Scientific Meeting of Microbiology (RECAM 2023) took place at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Barcelona (UB) on November 10.
The main objectives of the RECAM are to discuss some of the recent advances in microbiology, introduce and put in touch different groups dedicated to microbiological sciences, and promote collaborative activities between laboratories, research centres and universities.
From CIDSAV, researcher Núria Daranas presented the talk “Microbial biopesticides. Contribution of molecular techniques in its development”. Other researchers from the Faculties of Biology, Pharmacy and Food Science, and Medicine of the UB, Institute of Aquatic Ecology-UdG, Institute of Marine Sciences-CSIC, Institute of Agri-Food Research and Technology (IRTA)- CReSA and the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA)-UdG also presented their research in microbiology.
