Ms. Zohra El Khattabi Aghmir

Zohra El Khattabi Aghmir got a Bachelor’s degree in Agro-Food Engineering (2020) and she attended a master’s degree in Food Biotechnology (2020-2021) at the University of Girona (UdG). Part of her research has focused on the activity of antimicrobial peptides against phytopathogenic bacteria. She is currently a predoctoral researcher at the research group “Patologia Vegetal-CIDSAV” and is completing her thesis with the AGAUR FI-SDUR 2022 grant, associated with the project MCIN/AEI/FEDER-Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento 2021 (10.13039/501100011033) funded by “Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades” (MCIU) and entitled “An Innovative Integrated Approach to Sustainable Management of Alternaria leaf and fruit spot of Apple, an emerging disease in Europe” (ALFA).
