Sr. Marc Vila de Vargas

Marc Vila de Vargas graduated in 2018 in Food Science and Technology and completed the master’s degree in Food Biotechnology in 2021 at the University of Girona. He carried out his Master’s Thesis in the Plant Pathology Research Group at the Institute of Agri-Food Technology of the University of Girona under the project PDC2021-120778-I00: “Valorization of a sustainable management technology for stone fruit bacteriosis based on the application of biopeptides and a disease prediction system”, where he also worked for a year as a technician to perform research support activities. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis entitled “Development of tools for the integrated management of apple alternariosis based on molecular techniques for pathogen detection and plant defense elicitor peptides”.
