On November 12, in the afternoon, Emili Montesinos, the Director of CIDSAV, participated in a roundtable discussion at the Plant Health meeting, which focused on solutions to emerging challenges in plant health. The meeting took place at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (ICEA).
During the discussions, the need for solid education in the academic formative cycles and at the university level (including degree, master’s, and postgraduate programs) was emphasized. This education is essential for tackling agricultural challenges, ensuring food production, enhancing safety, and to overcome the limitations imposed by climate change. This perspective arose from the necessity for qualifications in “Vegetable Medicine,” as outlined in the “White Book of Plant Health.” https://lnkd.in/d4fZFMSX
