This Conference is a great opportunity to share advances in Industrial Engineering. It is promoted by ADINGOR. It is the meeting point for researchers and practitioners to start new initiatives in education or competitive project with firms. CIO ’18 objectives are:

The authors of the best papers will be asked on their preferences for publishing their papers on each journal. The rest of the accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings Book.
CIO’18 Conference welcomes submissions of scientific papers directly connected with the Conference Topics but also industrial papers demonstrating relevant case studies and implementation.
In Templates you will find formatting instructions for full papers (8 pages length) or extended abstracts (2 pages length). Extended abstracts will be considered for poster sessions. The papers could be written in English or Spanish. Word templates can be downloaded here. At least two members of the Programme Committee will review each submission.

CIO’18 Conference welcomes proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the main conference. The workshop proposal topics are opened to both the areas covered in the main conference topics (from a practical results point of view) and other areas not covered there. Workshops provide a space to discuss advanced research and innovative solutions, seeking also to show results achieved from industrial applications and/or research projects. Workshops may also be devoted to digital transformation case studies, solutions for industrial sectors or best practices and success cases.

The Doctoral Symposium is specially designed for students involved in the preparation of their PhD in any area related to the main CIO’18 topics. This Symposium brings the PhD students the chance to actively discuss their research issues and ideas with senior researchers and receive constructive feedback from members of the research community.
Accepted papers will be presented during the Doctoral Symposium by the PhD students who should be inscribed for the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the CIO’18 Proceedings Book. A best paper award will be given to the outstanding paper and will be proposed to be published in LECTURE NOTES (Springer). More information about the call for Doctoral Symposium page.
