Núria Giralt Mitjans, PhD student from the research group CIDSAV, has been awarded with a COST Action grant, within MiCropBiomes project, which allows an international stay called Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM). It consists of an exchange program of researchers within the COST Action project, for the knowledge and techniques transfer between research groups.
The training will last two weeks, and it will be done in Fribourg University (Switzerland), at Biology department. Specifically, it will be done in the Bioinformatics group (BUGFRI), led by Dr. Laurent Falquet, where a metagenomic analysis of microbial communities targeting 16S will be carried out.
