Núria Giralt Mitjans got a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology in 2022 at the University of Girona (UdG) and completed the Master’s Degree in Food Biotechnology in 2023 at the same university.

She is currently a predoctoral researcher at the research group “Patologia Vegetal-CIDSAV” and her thesis is linked to the project coordinated between CISDAV and the “Laboratori d’Innovació en Processos i Productes de Síntesi Orgànica (LIPPSO)” titled “New peptide based-compounds as smart plant protection products against plant diseases caused by Xylella fastidiosa (SmartPEPXYL)” funded by “Agencia Estatal de Investigación”.
