PhD. Concepció Moragrega García

Concepció Moragrega is currently Associate professor of Crop Production at UdG (EQATA department, 2003). Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences (UAB) and Technical Agricultural Engineer in Horticulture and Gardening (UPC). PhD in Biological Sciences (UdG). Member of the research Group on Plant Pathology at the UdG, and of Institute of Agri-Food Technology (INTEA). Pre- and post-doctoral research in national and international Centres (Universidad Pública de Navarra; Laboratoire de Pathologie Végétale et Phytobactériologie, INRA Angers-Nantes, France). Research focused to epidemiology and integrated control of crop diseases. Etiology of new bacterial and fungal diseases of the fruit trees. She has been involved in the development of prediction models for fungal and bacterial diseases of fruit tree crops. Participates in competitive research projects with national and international public funding, and transfer contracts with companies and institutions. She has been co-author of publications in national and international journals, as well as book chapters on crop diseases. She teaches in bachelor and master’s degrees related to Food and Crop Technology at the UdG and is in charge of Masters in Integrated Crop Protection at UdG (UdL-UdG-UJI). She has directed PhD dissertations, Master’s and final degree thesis.
