CIDSAV PARTICIPATION IN THE 36th EPS IN SITGES

Between August 28 and September 2, the 36th European Peptide Symposium was held together with the 12th International Peptide Symposium in Sitges, Catalonia. This congress became the first major post-pandemic meeting of the entire international scientific community that works with peptides in all areas and was of great use in reaffirming the importance of peptides in a wide range of uses.

At the congress, CIDSAV predoctoral researcher Pau Caravaca presented a poster called “Bifunctional peptide conjugates with antimicrobial activity on tomato and pear plants”, and PhD student Gerard Riesco, from LIPPSO, presented a poster in collaboration with CIDSAV called “Synthesis and structure-activity relationship analysis of antimicrobial peptide conjugates incorporating a plant defense elicitor”
