On 23 October 2025, Anna Bonaterra, CIDSAV director, attended the Agrifood Tech workshop. The event was organized by the TECNIO association in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and supported by the Government of Catalonia. Held at the UAB Research Park, the workshop aimed to establish connections with companies in the agri-food sector.
Representatives responsible for company innovation processes and technology development experts from the TECNIO association worked together to identify key value chains, challenges, and solutions to meet current industrial needs.
The workshop featured five round tables focused on i) soil management and precision agriculture, ii) agri-food sustainability, iii) food conservation and safety, iv) food transformation and v) digital agri-food transformation.
