Researchers from CIDSAV presented an oral communication at the Meeting of the IOBC/WPRS Working Groups “Pheromones and other semiochemicals in integrated production” and “Integrated Protection of Fruit Crops” which was held in Girona from September 25 to 29, 2022 (https://www.pherofruits2022.com/index.php).
The latest results about the use of antimicrobial peptides in the control of bacterial spot of stone fruits disease (Xanthomonas arboricola pv. pruni) were presented. Research was carried out as part of the projects SuMaCROP: “Valorization of a technology for sustainable management of bacterial diseases of stone fruits based on the application of biopeptides and a disease prediction system” (PDC2021-120778-I00/ AEI / 10.13039/501100011033 and Recovery and Resilience Facility from EU); and PepSysFRUIT: “Bioactive peptides and prediction systems for sustainable management of bacterial spot of stone fruits disease” (AGL2017-85121-R MINECO/AEI/FEDER, UE).
