Dr. Frederic Marimon Viadiu, professor attached to the Department of Economics and Business Organization at the International University of Catalonia (UIC), has been appointed Vice Rector for Research by the University Board.

Frederic Marimon (Igualada, 1963) is an Industrial Engineer (UPC), Doctor in Business Organization and Administration (University of Girona) and Master in Economics and Business Management (IESE). Dr. Marimon has been linked to the UIC since September 2001, where he has combined management tasks with teaching activity. As a professor, he has also taught at the University of Girona, the University of Lleida and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
