Getting here: Barcelona and Girona
There are two airports that you can use for coming to Girona.
Girona airport (GRO): Aeroport de Girona
Barcelona airport (BCN): Aeroport del Prat de Llobregat
The most convenient is Girona airport because of the closer distance, but there may be less flights to it from the different places in and outside Europe. Check possible flights with SkyScanner.
The connection between BCN airport and Girona city may take 2-4 hours depending on the transport(s) taken.

Tickets for fast trains can be bought beforehand (conference discount codes will be available in February 2016) through the Renfe website.
