Biography
Dr. Mas-Machuca graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Navarra and got her Ph.D. from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). For 6 years, she was the manager of a business unit in a consulting company of Altran Group. She joined the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in 2012, and was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Economy and Business Organization at the International University of Catalonia (Spain) in 2016. She is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, and her teaching is on strategic management and human resources management. In the last years she has created a network of international researchers from prestigious universities (e.g., Politecnico de Torino, Universitat Du Minho, University of Zagreb, California State University) who have enriched the research and methodologies she uses in her career. Dra. Mas-Machuca is the leader of the Research Group on Quality and Innovation for Service Excellence (QISE). She has published over 40 articles published in journals indexed in the JCR and SCOPUS databases. Also, she has participated in well-renowned national and international conferences (including some keynote sessions).
