This congress, jointly organized by the IOBC\/WPRS working groups on arthropods and diseases of pome fruit, provides a platform for presenting scientific advances, exchanging ideas, and fostering international collaboration.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CIDSAV members contributed with two posters accompanied by short presentations: \u201c<em>Sources of inoculum and population dynamics of Alternaria species associated with apple leaf blotch and fruit spot disease<\/em>\u201d and \u201c<em>Molecular diversity and phylogeny of Alternaria species causing leaf and fruit lesions in apple trees from northeastern Spain<\/em>\u201d, which address the phylogeny and epidemiology of Alternaria species associated with apple in Girona.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is worth highlighting that PhD student Marc Vila was awarded the prize for best poster and flash presentation, a recognition that underlines the quality and relevance of the research work carried out.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fa8f711 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\"
