justify;\">Jes\u00fas Franc\u00e9s es Profesor Agregado del \u00e1rea de Producci\u00f3n Vegetal del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica, Agraria y Tecnolog\u00eda Agroalimentaria de la Universitat de Girona (UdG). Su \u00e1rea de investigaci\u00f3n se circunscribe en la Patolog\u00eda Vegetal, especialmente en la minimizaci\u00f3n del uso de plaguicidas y el manejo integrado de enfermedades f\u00fangicas y bacterianas. Defendi\u00f3 la tesis doctoral en 2000, y su formaci\u00f3n de Ingeniero Agr\u00f3nomo en la Polit\u00e9cnica de Catalu\u00f1a, se complement\u00f3 en diversas estancias en centros de investigaci\u00f3n como CRIOF de la Universidad de Bologna, el Departamento de Producci\u00f3n Vegetal de la Universidad P\u00fablica de Navarra (UPNA), la universidad de Lleida y la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid (UPM). Es investigador del grupo de Patolog\u00eda Vegetal del Instituto de Tecnolog\u00eda Agroalimentaria de la UdG, miembro del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n consolidado (2017SGR00784) reconocido por la Generalitat de Catalunya. Su investigaci\u00f3n actual se centra en la obtenci\u00f3n, caracterizaci\u00f3n y mejora de microorganismos para su utilizaci\u00f3n como bioplaguicidas en el control de las enfermedades f\u00fangicas y bacterianas de las plantas y en postcosecha de fruta. Concretamente, en la obtenci\u00f3n de cepas productoras de p\u00e9ptidos bioactivos. Es coautor de varios art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos en revistas referidas en el SCI, as\u00ed como de diversos art\u00edculos de divulgaci\u00f3n y cap\u00edtulos de libros. Asimismo, es coinventor de una patente en el campo de bioplaguicidas microbianos.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1bce51ba elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"1bce51ba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\"
