CIO’18 Conference welcomes proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the main conference. The workshop proposal topics are opened to both the areas covered in the main conference topics (from a practical results point of view) and other areas not covered there. Workshops provide a space to discuss advanced research and innovative solutions, seeking also to show results achieved from industrial applications and/or research projects. Workshops may also be devoted to digital transformation case studies, solutions for industrial sectors or best practices and success cases. In the CIO’18 there are two types of workshops proposals – open and invited-, which are below explained, being the deadline for both on January the 9th 2018.
Open Workshops Proposals
The open workshop type welcomes workshops propositions from researchers interested on developing a workshop. To this end, researchers should fill-in and sent to cio2018@udg.edu (subject: Workshops) or just click here to committee chair before the deadline (January the 9th 2018) the following form: CIO18_Open_Workshops_Form. The approved workshop proposals will be notified and there will be a call for papers for them on January the 16th 2018, with deadline on March the 6th 2018. The received papers will follow the normal revision process and may be published in the selected journals and in Lecture Notes in Management and Industrial Engineering (LNMIE). The language of the proposed workshop can be English or Spanish, use the selected language for filling the form.
Invited Workshops Proposals
The invited workshop type welcomes workshops propositions from researchers interested on developing a workshop too. The difference with the open workshops type is that, when proposing the workshop, the researcher will have to specify a list of papers (between 4 and 6) and associated authors and such a researcher will be in charge of both the revision process of these papers and managing such a workshop. To this end, researchers should fill-in and sent to cio2018@udg.edu (subject: Workshops) or just click here to committee chair before the deadline (January the 9th 2018) the following form: CIO18_Invited_Workshops_Form. The approved workshop proposals will be notified on January the 16th 2018. The papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings Book. The language of the proposed workshop can be English or Spanish, use the selected language for filling the form.
